The church of St. Peter, erected in 1818, at a cost of £4,000, is an edifice of stone, in the Gothic style, consisting of nave, with quasi chancel, west porch, and a belfry containing one bell. The register dates from the year 1818. The living is a perpetual curacy, yearly value £120, with residence, in the gift of the Commissioners of Greenwich Hospital, and held since 1868 by the Rev.
